Since 2008: Specialist training in Katathym Imaginativer Psychotherapie (KIP), with the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Angewandte Tiefenpsychologie und Allgemeine Psychotherapie (ÖGATAP) [Austrian Society for Applied Depth Psychology and General Psychotherapy].
KIP is a procedure that uses imagination, symbols and metaphors in facilitating and supporting access to (unconscious) resources and solutions.
2005-2006: Systemic Coaching and Systemic Organisational Development, Österreichische Arbeitskreis für Gruppendynamik und Gruppenpsychotherapie (ÖAGG) [Austrian Working Group for Group Dynamics and Group Psychotherapy], Vienna Academy for Organisational Development. Two courses forming an essential systematic and content basis for my consultancy work.
2004-2005: NPO and Public Management Course at the Österreichisches Controller-Institut (ÖCI) [Austrian Institute for Financial Controllers] Supporting my management post with the BJV, this CPD course gave me key insights into aspects of business and management economics and familiarised me with application-oriented tools.
Theology studies
This course has influenced some of my approaches in my consultancy work, even if I have never worked in a conventional area relating to theology: the importance of ethical thinking and action, thinking in “unusual associations”, and accessing work using metaphors and symbols.
